A few night photos from the early mornings before the new moon in February 2019, when testing the first possibilities of catching the center of the Milky Way this year.

Crescent Moon at local horizon
Sony RX10, 2019-02-02, at 04:38, manual, single shot,
ISO 3200, f3.2, 15 sec., focal length in 35 mm film: 24 mm.
The moon rose at 04:28 and had ascended to 1.2 when the photo was taken, telling the altitude  the local horizon,. A small field burning started some minutes before and soon ended.
Astronomical twilight started at 05:21. The center of the Milky Way is faintly visible to the right of Jupiter and Saturn.

Celestial Bow
Sony RX10, 2019-02-02, at 04:54, manual, single shot,
ISO 4000, f2.8, 15 sec., focal length in 35 mm film: 24 mm.
The moon rose at 04:28. Astronomical twilight started at 05:21. The center of the Milky Way is visible to the right of Jupiter and Saturn. First Milky Way test in the 2019 season.
From the horizon we first count the moon, then the planets Venus and Jupiter and finally the bright star, Antares, rising forming a curve - and mirrored in the water shaping a giant celestial bow.

Rising Moon following triple-planets
Sony RX10, 2019-02-03, at 05:36, manual, single shot,
ISO 4000, f2.8, 13 sec., focal length in 35 mm film: 24 mm.
The moon rose at 05:17. Astronomical twilight lasted from 05:20 to 05:46. The sun rose at 06:34.
Antares, Jupiter and the bright Venus is high on the morning sky. The location of Saturn can be read by it's reflection in the lake.

Moon in smog
Sony RX10, 2019-02-03, at 05:31, manual, single shot,
ISO 5000, f2.8, 13 sec., focal length in 35 mm film: 24 mm. Cropped.
Saturn is mirrored in the lake. The cottage is silhouetted by the burning of sugarcane fields. The moon tries to burn it way through the haze of the fields and the mountains, which have been burning and smoking for weeks. A local annual event in January-February, but the last years the smog has increased rapidly due to burnings of sugar-cane fields periodically sweetening the air.
